Radha Krsna Prana mora..

This is a beautiful song sung by the great Vaishnava acharya, Srila Narotamma das Thakura.. and is my recent favorite.

Radha Krsna Prana Mora

radha-krsna prana mora jugala-kisora
jivane marane gati aro nahi mora

The Divine Couple, Sri Sri Radha and Krsna, are my life and soul. In life or death I have no other refuge but Them.

kalindira kule keli-kadambera vana
ratana-bedira upara bosabo du'jana

In a forest of small kadamba trees on the bank of the Yamuna, I will seat the Divine Couple on a throne made of brilliant jewels.

syama-gauri-ange dibo (cuwa) candanera gandha
camara dhulabo kabe heri mukha-candra
I will anoint Their dark and fair forms with sandalwood paste scented with cuya, and I will fan Them with a camara whisk. Oh, when will I behold Their moonlike faces?

gathiya malatir mala dibo dohara gale
adhare tuliya dibo karpura-tambule
After stringing together garlands of malati flowers I will place them around Their necks, and I will offer tambula scented with camphor to Their lotus mouths.

lalita visakha-adi jata sakhi-brnda
ajnaya koribo seba caranaravinda
With the permission of all the sakhis, headed by Lalita and Visakha, I will serve the lotus feet of Radha and Krsna.

sri-krsna-caitanya-prabhur daser anudasa
seva abhilasa kore narottama-dasa

Narottama dasa, the servant of the servant of Sri Krsna Caitanya Prabhu, longs for this service to the divine couple.

नमः पंकज नाभाया
नमः पंकज मालिने
नमः पंकज नेत्राया
नमस्ते पन्कजान्घ्राये

namah pankaja-nabhaya
namah pankaja-maline
namah pankaja-netraya
namas te pankajanghraye

My respectful obeisances are unto You, O Lord, whose abdomen is marked with a depression like a lotus flower, who are always decorated with garlands of lotus flowers, whose glance is as cool as the lotus and whose feet at engraved with lotuses.

King Kulasekhar says..

krsna tvadiya-pada-pankaja-panjarantam
adyaiva me visatu manasa-raja-hamsa
prana-prayana samaye kapha vata pittaih
kanthavarodhana-vidhau smaranam kutas te

My Lord Krsna, I pray that the swan of my mind may immediately sink down to the stems of the lotus feet of Your Lordship and be locked up in their network; otherwise at the time of my final breath, when my throat is choked up with cough, how will it be possible to think of You?

Bowing down to the Original Personality

kunti uvaca
namasye purusam tvadyam
isvaram prakrteh param
alaksyam sarva-bhutanam
antar bahir avasthitam

Srimati Kunti said:
O Krsna, I offer my obeisances unto You because You are the original personality and are unaffected by the qualities of the material world. You are existing both within and without everyhting, yet You are invisible to all.
